Wilma Marie Plunkett papers, circa 1989.

Collection contains materials used by Plunkett Barstow for her course work for a Master of Arts degree from Brigham Young University. Included in the collection is a small book published in 1906 showing photographs (probably taken by Edith Irvine) of San Francisco before and after the earthquake of 1906. There are two copies of the New San Francisco Magazine, one published in May 1906 and the other from July 1906. There is another small book titled "The Picture Story of the San Francisco Earthquake" published ca. 1906, and a copy of Sunset magazine published in April 1907 with the headline "San Francisco One Year Later." There is a souvenir edition of Western Field magazine published in May 1906, and a scanned copy of the special edition San Francisco Examiner from 21 October 1906, as well as a copy of an article published in the American Journal Examiner in 1906. There are also copies of photographs and articles that appeared in the Provo Daily Herald and the Daily Universe on October 22, 1989. There are also copies of two articles, one written by Kathryn S. Egan titled "A Constructivist's View of an Earthquake: Edith Irvine Photographs San Francisco 1906" and one written by Laverne Mau Dicker titled "The San Francisco Earthquake and Fire." There is a folder containing samples of mounting boards and their price lists. There is a copy of Plunkett's own Master's project publication, Edith Irvine, Her Life and Photography, published June 1989.
